Where are we going ?
This morning I was reading an article of Mark Manson on advertising and marketing. Mark Manson is a kind of hero for me. The main argument of that article is that we live in a world where out identity is defined by how much we consume, which is predominantly created by media. We live in a bizzare world where we are trapped in a rat race. We dont have time even to breathe. With the advent of neo-liberalism and globalisation everyone is in a race to become global and become recognised by the world. What I want to highlight here is that all of us even including me, forget what we have in our own hands and run for illusory goals and ambitions. As a generation we are more prone to anxiety, depression and various whatnot diseases than our parents or grandparents. Honeslty I think this kind of disappointment is a common problem for every young person in the world. But as Manson rightfully concludes there is no other better solution than neo-liberalisation or globalisation to 'govern' our selfish human kind. Honestly, I believe that future generation will evolve to accept communism or Marxism and their brains and minds will be more sophistocated than selfish 21st century homo sapien, simply to accept that everyone is equal infront irrespective of thousands of differences we create inside our own minds.
