 දුක තමන්ට වෙච්ච දාටදාට,
අඩන්න කදුළු මදි වූ දාට,
දුකයි, දුකයි,  දුකයි...

Problem with Sri Lankan Education System

 When I was in primary school, my friends used to tell that they wanted to be doctors, engineers and pilots... I never wanted to be a doctor, engineer or even a pilot ( does not mean that I disrespect these professions, but I simply did not want to be. A little later the list go expanded: lawyer, cricketer, or even a lecturer ( I also wanted to be a cricketer but more than I wantrd to be a cricket commentator and even now I have that dream. I used to imitate all the star commentators commentaries and that is why I think I fell in love with English language. I imagine that I was in Sydney Cricket Ground or Kettarama Ground and I bowled a delivery imitating Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath or Lasith Malinga and I also became the batsman who faced the delivery.
