Boys should not cry

Boys  should  not  cry,
Boys  cannot  cry,
Boys  mustn’t  cry, Ah,
I  always  thought,
I  shouldn’t,  can’t  and  mustn’t  cry,
And  when  I  wanted  to  cry,
I  didn’t  cry,
 One  last  time,
I  couldn’t  hold  it  up.
Then  I  cried,
cried  like  a  fool,
cried  like  something,
But  had  to  do  in  secret,
Because,   You  know  “I  cannot  let  people  around  me  down”
But  oh  my!
After  I  cried,
I  felt  okay,  okay  now!
And  I  felt  nothing  about  girliness  or  feminine  in  it.
Oh  you  fools Cry  loud,
Cry  really  loud,
Not  in  corners,
But  in  public.
Because  pain  has  neither  gender  nor  sex.
